A soldier in the second world war, he returned to Liverpool before moving to Solihull/Birmingham a
while later. He had seveal jobs, including long distance lorry driving, director's chaffeur for Land
Rover Solihull until being forced to retire after being the vctim in a car accident.
In his early years in Liverpool my Grandad was an amateur boxer and won several cups, which he
cherished all his life, along with his dominoes winners medals/cups.
A wonderful, loving, extremely kind man with a lovely sense of humour, we miss him every day. The
void left in his daughter - Sue's - life can never be filled.
They don't make them like my Grandad anymore.
Love you Grandad. xxxxxxxxx
